I want to take a moment to applaud Black people.
We are fighting in the revolution.
We are dealing with the pandemic.
We have been dealing with multiple levels and dimensions of racism, forever.
Nigel Shelby: Speak ALL of His Truth
Something that many don’t realize is that Nigel Shelby could have been any Black gay man that you know today. Personally, from Elementary through the end of my 7th grade year I was called “faggot, punk, sissy, etc.” almost daily.
Be Grateful
So I’m moving about my apartment this morning and I find myself in a space of gratitude. Not the typical type of gratitude where I’m just thankful for things that are going on and everything, but I find myself in this moment thankful that I am not yet where I am going.
